If Bali, Indonesia has been on your bucket list, this post will show you some amazing photos that are going to make you want to pack your bags and go now! Bali has such a a variety of wonderful things to do and places to see. The tropical island, obviously, has some of the world's best beaches, but there is much more for those who are ready to explore.
You can find rice fields, jungles, volcanic mountains, and temple after temple. There are some amazing landscapes on this small island that will blow you away - take a look at the photos of Bali below.
You might think that all Bali has to offer are beaches and resorts. Well, they do have some of the most incredible resorts with views that are sensational. No one is doubting that. Beyond the beaches, beyond the non-stop parties of Kuta and Seminyak, you'll be able to find some hidden gems.
These incredible sights are definitely worth the ride (some can be 2-3 hours away). And if you're one of those real adventurous types (do you wanna be friends?) then you'll want to grab a motorbike at the nearest rental shop and hit the road.
Yes, it's much easier and convenient to hire a taxi for the day and get a ride into the inner parts of the island. Yet, there's something special about feeling the wind in your hair and experiencing the journey along the way with all your senses. Never mind that you can zig zag through traffic and get to your destination faster!
We spent two months in Bali and still didn't manage to experience everything the island has to offer. For those visiting Southeast Asia on their vacation, around 4 days in Bali would probably be more typical.
Although we didn't have a great camera at the time, we did capture some fantastic shots. It's really hard to take a bad picture when you are in a beautiful place like Bali where everything is so picturesque.

Born in Iran, but I consider myself a citizen of Earth, adhering to the belief that "The world is but one country and mankind its citizen." I strive to make a positive impact on everyone I meet and learn as much as possible from them. My degree out of college is in Marketing. However, I entered the hospitality business at an early age and worked my way up to hotel management. After about 13 years in that industry (5 of which I was a hotel assistant manager), I made the decision to move to Thailand and leave the 9 to 5 grind behind. My husband and I set off for a life of living abroad and hopes to continue traveling the world, just 3 months after our wedding. It all started with the two of us, along with our cat, together in Thailand. Can't wait to see where life takes us next!
